Occupational Health and Safety Management Policy
At Hyojin Co., Ltd., the lives and health of all employees and stakeholders are held as the highest value. We are committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace by establishing and faithfully implementing the following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies:
Principle of Safety and Health First
We prioritize safety and health in all management activities and continuously strengthen systems to prevent accidents and illnesses.
Full Compliance with Laws and Requirements
We strictly comply with the Industrial Safety and Health Act and all related regulations and stakeholder requirements.
Proactive Elimination of Hazards and Continuous Improvement
We identify and eliminate or control harmful and hazardous factors in all tasks and processes in advance, and continuously improve our OHS management system.
Employee Participation and Open Communication
We enhance education and training to ensure active participation of all employees in safety and health activities, and foster a safety culture through transparent communication.
Cooperative Safety with Partners
We build a collaborative safety management system through cooperation with partners and stakeholders.
Human Rights Management Policy
At Hyojin Co., Ltd., we place the highest value on human dignity and rights and practice human rights management by respecting and protecting human rights in all business activities. We declare the following human rights management policy to protect the rights of all stakeholders, including employees, in accordance with internationally recognized human rights standards:
Energy Use and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management
Introduce energy-efficient equipment and machinery and prevent unnecessary energy consumption at sites.
Regularly measure and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, set reduction targets, and strive for continuous improvement.
Actively adopt eco-friendly fuels, low-carbon technologies, and renewable energy solutions.
Water Resource Management
Periodically monitor water usage at project sites and apply water-saving equipment and recycling systems.
Set reduction targets and strive to save water resources.
Pollution Control (Air, Noise, Vibration, Dust, etc.)
Establish technical and administrative measures to minimize pollutants such as noise, vibration, and dust generated during construction.
Install dust control nets, sprinklers, and covers in processes that generate fugitive dust to prevent dispersion.
Measure concentrations of air pollutants during operations and manage emissions to ensure compliance with standards.
Resource Circulation and Waste Management
Strictly separate and dispose of waste by type, with priority given to recycling reusable resources.
Use only licensed and qualified waste treatment companies and transparently record and manage all disposal activities.
Strictly prevent illegal dumping, littering, or unauthorized incineration, and implement a waste management plan for construction waste.
Safe Management of Chemical Substances
Provide appropriate education and safety measures for all stages of hazardous chemical handling: import, storage, use, and disposal.
Maintain and manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) thoroughly, store hazardous materials in approved containers, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Establish emergency response plans for chemical spills and conduct regular simulation drills.
Education and Awareness
Provide regular environmental education and practical training for all employees and partner companies.
Designate environmental officers at each site to conduct ongoing monitoring and training.
Legal Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Fully comply with domestic and international environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and the requirements of clients and ordering parties.
Evaluate environmental performance regularly, reset objectives, and implement company-wide improvements.
Information Security Policy
Hyojin Co., Ltd., is committed to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets and maintaining the trust of customers and employees.To this end, we establish and faithfully implement the following information security policies:
Establishment of Information Security Management System (ISMS)
We recognize the importance of information security and operate a systematic Information Security Management System (ISMS) to protect all organizational assets.
We designate a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and clearly define departmental responsibilities to enhance governance.
Protection of Information Assets and Access Control
We classify all information assets (documents, systems, networks, personally identifiable information, etc.) and implement role-based access controls.
We apply technical and physical safeguards to ensure confidentiality and integrity during the creation, storage, transmission, and disposal of data.
Protection of Personal and Customer Information
We comply with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, and other relevant laws, ensuring safe handling of customer data.
We collect only the minimum required personal information, and strictly prohibit unauthorized use or third-party disclosure.
Response to Cyber Threats
We maintain systems to respond to cyberattacks, malware, ransomware, and other threats, and conduct regular inspections and training.
In the event of a security incident, we detect and respond immediately, minimize damage, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Employee Awareness and Education
We conduct regular training and awareness programs for all employees to enhance security awareness.
Violations of security policies and guidelines may result in disciplinary or legal action.
Continuous Improvement and Auditing
Our security policies and systems are regularly reviewed through internal audits and external assessments and are updated to reflect the latest security trends and technologies.
Supply Chain (Supplier Code of Conduct)
Hyojin Co., Ltd., continues efforts to foster sustainable value creation and mutual growth with our suppliers. As of 2024, we have a total of 466 partner companies. Among them, 39 Tier 1 suppliers are identified based on transaction volume, importance to business, and supplied items. We strive to establish a culture of fair trade in all contracts and transactions with our partners.
