WE BUILD
A BRIGHT FUTURE TOGETHER
At Hyojin Co., Ltd., environmental protection and sustainability are top priorities in all management and construction activities. Accordingly, we have established the following specific environmental policies, which we faithfully implement in collaboration with all employees and stakeholders.
Energy Use and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management
Introduce energy-efficient equipment and machinery and prevent unnecessary energy consumption at sites.
Regularly measure and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, set reduction targets, and strive for continuous improvement.
Actively adopt eco-friendly fuels, low-carbon technologies, and renewable energy solutions.
Water Resource Management
Periodically monitor water usage at project sites and apply water-saving equipment and recycling systems.
Set reduction targets and strive to save water resources.
Pollution Control (Air, Noise, Vibration, Dust, etc.)
Establish technical and administrative measures to minimize pollutants such as noise, vibration, and dust generated during construction.
Install dust control nets, sprinklers, and covers in processes that generate fugitive dust to prevent dispersion.
Measure concentrations of air pollutants during operations and manage emissions to ensure compliance with standards.
Resource Circulation and Waste Management
Strictly separate and dispose of waste by type, with priority given to recycling reusable resources.
Use only licensed and qualified waste treatment companies and transparently record and manage all disposal activities.
Strictly prevent illegal dumping, littering, or unauthorized incineration, and implement a waste management plan for construction waste.
Safe Management of Chemical Substances
Provide appropriate education and safety measures for all stages of hazardous chemical handling: import, storage, use, and disposal.
Maintain and manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) thoroughly, store hazardous materials in approved containers, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Establish emergency response plans for chemical spills and conduct regular simulation drills.
Education and Awareness
Provide regular environmental education and practical training for all employees and partner companies.
Designate environmental officers at each site to conduct ongoing monitoring and training.
Legal Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Fully comply with domestic and international environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and the requirements of clients and ordering parties.
Evaluate environmental performance regularly, reset objectives, and implement company-wide improvements.
